Photometry is reported for the eclipsing binary old nova DQ Her, its surrounding nebula, and its close visual companion. Because previous photoelectric measurements have not distinguished these components, large corrections to the published data are required. From luminosity arguments an upper limit of 0.35 solar mass for the mass of the late-type star in the eclipsing binary is derived. This appears to conflict with the spectroscopically determined mass of 0.5-0.6 solar mass.
