The recycling model predicts that Millisecond Pulsars (MSPs) are neutron stars spun up by mass and angular momentum accretion from a low mass companion. In order to obtain a strong observational proof of this scenario we have searched 5 Soft X-ray Transients for radio pulsations. Those sources, indeed, are, for their rotational, magnetic and accretion characteristics, the best candidates to establish a link between MSPs and Low Mass X-ray Binaries and to confirm the recycling model. No pulsed radio signals with period between 0.5 and 200 ms were found in our search, above significant flux limits. This result could be interpreted assuming the presence of a residual mass transferred in the quiescent phase, that absorbs via free-free the pulsed signal.
