Experimental evidence is presented confirming that the earlier observed anomaly in the content of some chemical elements in Tunguska peat was caused by conservation of the cosmic matter in the peat. A distinct difference was observed between the isotope composition of lead in the 'catastrophic' layer and the layers above and below this layer. A comparison with some geological isotope compositions revealed a similiarity to that of Group II iron meteorites.
