Satellite-observed time profiles of flare protons with energies not less than 30 MeV for the period 1969-1973 were analyzed. It is shown that the time dependence of cosmic ray intensity decrease is described by tau = At exp 2/3; such a dependence is possible if the diffusion coefficient varies with time. An analytical formula is obtained which describes the time profiles of solar cosmic rays at distances from one to several AE.
