A 50 channel receiver currently used to observe radio sources at the Ohio State-Ohio Wesleyan radio observatory is examined. The receiver employs a dual horn feed system allowing two observations of a source on each transit which significantly improves the record quality. The system is monitored by a team of volunteer graduate students and professors that have been observing the universe for the last 23 years and are searching for extra-terrestrial life.
