Positions of about 80 stars in the surroundings of NGC 5466 were measured and the absolute proper motion of the cluster was derived. The measurements included the most distinct AHB stars found by Cuffey (1961), and the results of Zinn (1974) were independently tested. The results support membership assignments from radial velocities for seven stars and provide assignments for three further stars.
