The Ne(+) forbidden line at 12.8 microns has been measured in seven H II
regions and two planetary nebulae with a new Fabry-Perot interferometer.
Neon abundances are derived for the H II regions, which are all at or
outside the solar circle. No significant variation of the neon abundance
is found in this region of the Galaxy.
