Extragalactic redshifts are sometimes presented in a 'corrected' form
that improperly allows for motion of the solar system. In the case of
galaxies in clusters, the radial velocities within the cluster are often
presented in a fictitious form that can be misleading. Brief comments
are made on the proper treatment of observed redshifts.
