Spectroscopic radial-velocity data are used to determine a circular-orbit solution for the eclipsing binary V78 in the field of Omega Cen. Values of V0 = -96 + or - 5 km/s and K = -43 + or - 8 km/s are obtained, along with approximate values of 2 solar masses for the primary mass, 0.4 solar mass for the secondary, 1.5 solar radii for the primary radius, and 2.0 solar radii for the secondary. The spectral type of V78 is found to be A0, and the equivalent widths of the Balmer lines at maximum light are shown to suggest that the primary is a main-sequence star. It is concluded that V78 appears to be an Algol-type close binary.
