A theoretical rotational and vibrational line list for the HeH+ molecular ion in the ground electronic state is presented. The list includes transition energies and oscillator strength for all possible allowed transitions and is used to compute the cooling function of HeH+ for the LTE case. The HeH+ LTE cooling function is found to be nearly ten orders of magniture larger than that of H2 suggesting it might be an important coolant in moderately ionized molecular gas. The work was support by NSF Grant AST-0607733.
