I will discuss a number of aspects related to the formation of galactic disks in triaxial dark matter halos in the cosmological setting. Specifically, I shall focus on the early stage of the disk growth. The disk - halo interaction leads to asymmetric disks accompanied by gas-rich stellar bars and nested bars, and by an extensive outer spiral structure. It has a profound effect on the inner halo properties as well as on the formation and the initial growth of the central black hole.
