We present the deepest color-magnitude diagram (CMD) of an outer field in M81 - a nearby early-type spiral galaxy. The field, located 20 kpc from the center of M81, was imaged with the Advanced Camera for Surveys on the Hubble Space Telescope. The CMD, which is likely to be dominated by M81 halo stars, extends from above the first ascent red giant branch tip to just below the horizontal branch. In addition to these features, the CMD also shows a young main sequence population with an age of less than 500 Myr. We present an analysis of the CMD in terms of the star formation and chemical enrichment history of the M81 halo.
