We discuss the properties of a massive dry galaxy merger discovered in a z=0.4 cluster. The brightest cluster galaxy (BCG) is undergoing a merger with three large galaxies, and the merger has produced a plume of stars in a merger remnant containing the equivalent of a galaxy in stars. Spitzer data show that there is no current star formation in either the merging galaxies or the stellar plume. MMT/Hectospec spectra show that the merging galaxies have experienced little recent star formation. We will discuss the impact of such mergers on the evolution of brightest cluster galaxies and intracluster light.
