We summarize the current status of the Pan-STARRS Image Processing Pipeline (IPP) and apply it to real astronomical imaging. This software package is designed to characterize, reduce, and analyze images in an automated fashion, as the pipeline will have to accommodate a nightly raw data throughput of 1.6 TB. The precision goals for the IPP include 1% photometry and 10(30) mas relative(absolute) astrometry. We have tested the analysis portion of the IPP using multi-epoch images taken by the MegaCam and CFH12K cameras from the CFHT telescope located on Mauna Kea, Hawaii. The IPP allows us to identify low-mass member candidates of the nearby Taurus and rho Ophiuchus star-forming regions using a combination of color and proper motion criteria. The efficiency of our selection method is then determined via near-infrared spectroscopic follow-up.
