We have investigated the CL characteristics and oxygen isotopic
compositions of carbonate grains from the Murchison CM chondrite. The
oxygen isotopic compositions of 7 different calcite grains have d18O
from 27.4 to 37.2o/oo and lie along the terrestrial fractionation line.
