We present submillimeter imaging of the near-edge-on spiral galaxy NGC 4594, the Sombrero. Using SHARC II at 350 microns, we clearly detect both the dust ring and the nucleus. By contrast, images taken at a longer wavelength with SCUBA or a shorter wavelength with Spitzer show only one or the other. We examine the proposition that the dust ring is the only source of the 160 micron emission and that the 850 micron dust emission is from a distinct component.
