Photoelectric U, B, V photometry of PU Vul from March 1982 to January 1983 shows that the star has remained, on the whole, in the state of maximum light (8.5 m) that began in autumn 1981. Unlike the 1979 maximum, the minor superimposed fluctuations were aperiodic in 1982. In October, V brightened somewhat and the U-B, B-V color indices decreased significantly. Spectrograms indicate these changes reflect a rise in the star's temperature.
