For the temperatures 103 - 1.5×104K and number densities 1 - 107 cm-3 the rate constant of the reaction H2+H → H+H+H is calculated including all the H2 vibrational states. It is shown, that in a rarefied gas with density ≤104 cm-3 the main contribution to the dissociation rate comes from the low vibrational states of the H2 molecule.
