The kinematics of H II regions is analyzed on the assumption that the Galaxy is subject to spiral density waves. H II zones are shown to populate the inner edge of the Sagittarius stellar spiral arm and the outer edge of the Perseus arm. The radius of the corotation circle is about 11 kpc; the group velocity of the density wave is directed away from the corotation circle.
