Four-color and H-beta observations are presented for 81 stars in the fields of the southern open clusters NGC 2437, NGC 2659, NGC 4103, and NGC 5822. Mean cluster reddenings and distance moduli are derived, and upper limits for the variation of reddening in the cluster fields are estimated. The upper main sequence of NGC 2437 consists of evolved A0-type stars, spanning about three magnitudes of luminosity at nearly constant effective temperature. The brightest members of NGC 2659 are unevolved B and A0 stars, and the cluster may also contain an A0 giant star. NGC 4103 contains slightly evolved B stars, and an extreme Be star and several B stars with anomalously strong H-beta absorption may also be cluster members. NGC 5822 is an intermediate-age cluster with a main-sequence turnoff in the A-star range; it apparently has a high percentage of binary stars and several blue stragglers.
