An analysis is presented of data on isotope anomalies associated with nuclear reactions in extraterrestrial matter and terrestrial minerals. In an examination of the broad pattern of isotope anomalies in space, it is noted that sources of such anomalies are nucleosynthesis during the formation of the protoplanetary system, nuclear reactions under the effect of cosmic rays, and the solar wind. 'Echoes' of cosmic nuclear reactions are evident in the isotopic composition of terrestrial elements in the 'extinct isotopes' inherited from the primordial matter, and in the decay products of these 'extinct isotopes'. Specific nuclear reactions occur on the earth, which produce isotopic shifts, either on a global scale or in extremely limited local objects.
