A map is presented of the molecular clouds toward Cas A, in the 2(11)-2(12) line of H2CO. It is noted that at 14.5 GHz, the line rest frequency, the angular resolution is 1 arcmin and that the map is fully sampled in regions where the continuum intensity is large. Velocity features at -1, -39, and -47 km/s are detected. The -1 km/s feature is thought to be located is the Orion arm, close to the sun. This feature is extended over more than approximately 2 arcmin, and its center is probably south of the center of Cas A. The -39 and -47 km/s features are formed in clouds 1-1.5 arcmin in size. These are centered to the west and SE of Cas A's center. Since there are no absorbing clouds toward the northern part of Cas A, the visual extinction should be lower than in the southern part of the source.
