The last version of the "[Fe/H] catalogue" has been used to study the state of evolution of F, G, and K stars which underwent spectroscopic detailed analyses based on well resolved spectra. A table containing the parameters: color index, B - V, effective temperature, spectroscopic gravity, iron abundance parallax, absolute and bolometric magnitudes of 487 field F, G, and K stars is given and discussed. The effective temperature range of the stars is 7200-3600 K.
An [Fe/H] histogram and several effective temperature histograms as well as three observational (log Teff, Mbol) diagrams are presented and interpreted. An effort has been made to discriminate in the results what is due to observational selection effects and what is likely of intrinsic value.
