The current status of the Dark Matter (DM) search is reviewed and the indirect astrophysical search for DM is discussed in the context of the viable models for Dark Matter candidates. The DM signals expected from the most viable DM scenarios are discussed for the optimal astrophysical DM laboratories: galaxy clusters, dwarf galaxies and AGNs. We focus on the expectations in the hard X-ray and soft gamma-ray frequency ranges and we discuss the correlations between these signals and the gamma-ray (GeV) and radio (GHz) multifrequency counterparts of the DM signals. A future outline of the theoretical and experimental prespectives in DM search at high energy is finally presented.
