We will present new photometric observations of comets 46P/Wirtanen and
C/1995 O1 (Hale-Bopp). CCD-Observations were carried out August 8--12
and September 7-8, 1996 for Wirtanen and June 24-28 and September 26-30,
1996 for Hale-Bopp. Preliminary results on a search for periodicity in
Wirtanen will be discussed.
