We review the uncertainties in two observational local constraints of the galactic disk chemical evolution: the metallicity distribution of long-lived dwarfs and the age-metallicity relation. We show that the former provides a loose constraint on infall models, while recent studies of the age-metallicity relations are essentially reflecting noise in the determinations of these two parameters.
