Some recent progress in describing the space-time Schwarzschild metric
inside a black hole leads to the discovery that the black-hole thermal
emission process ends before the evaporation is completed, just when the
black hole reaches the Planck dimension. In the light of this, the
analogy between black holes and elementary particles is discussed.
