The bursting pulsar GRO J1744-28 has now been localized by Ulysses and BATSE using both network synthesis and conventional triangulation techniques. The fact that an X-ray and IR counterpart have now been identified for this source means that, for the first time, both of these techniques may be verified. This verification applies to 1) the timing accuracy of the Ulysses data in the real-time data mode, 2) the timing accuracy of the Ulysses data in the triggered mode, 3) the cross-correlation technique used to compare the light curves of gamma-ray bursts from different spacecraft, and 4) the method used to derive burst positions by triangulation. We will display the network synthesis and triangulated positions obtained for the bursting pulsar, and discuss the accuracy to which the methods can be verified.
