The first results of the C/2001 Q4 observation campaign are presented. The comet was observed with visual, photographic and CCD techniques. Both photometry and imaging show an active comet even if fainter than expected, especially after the perihelion passage. The coma presented halos and spiral-like features recalling those displayed by other comets like Hale-Bopp and Ikeya-Zhang. Visual and CCD light curves are analyzed and first tests with narrowband filters were performed with the goal of obtaining more accurate Afrho measurements. Narrowband filters (647-650 nm) proved useful also for dust tail analysis and are now adopted as standard for the CARA project.
