By the end of 1969 about 50 X-ray stars were found. We compiled their
positions, intensities and other characteristics determined by a number
of observations. Some of them seem to be as variable as galactic novae.
We estimated the appearance frequency of galactic X-ray stars as about
100 extars Y-1 gal-1.
