Polarization at 1404 MHz of the radio emission from PSR 0834+06 is studied in order to separate different orthogonal polarization modes. It is argued that the modes are highly linearly polarized and that the observed depolarization is due to superposition of the modes at any instant. It is shown that the modes are not equally distributed within the pulse profile. One mode dominates a saddle between the profile components while the other one dominates the profile wings.
