A rather general first order linearized perturbation theory is derived with which one can calculate a quasi-static equilibrium stellar interior model if given an initial approximation thereto. The process developed is applicable to both static and evolutionary models, wherein slightly different physical assumptions (e.g. gas characteristics) or physical conditions (e.g. matter composition) are imposed. The correction to the given model is obtained through bi-directional quadrature with fitting at an intermediate position; however, no trial integrations are necessary.
