Infrared photometric observations at J, H and K photometric bands are presented for the southern RS CVn-type binaries HD 5303 and AD Cap. These measurements are used in order to search for any evidence of circumstellar material in these systems and also to study their light variations in the infrared. The infrared observations show a possible wave-like light variation similar to that in the visual, which is a common characteristic of the RS CVn-type binaries. There is no conspicuous infrared excess from the systems attributable to circumstellar emission.
