This paper presents complete uvby light curves of the southern detached double-lined eclipsing binary BW Aqr, which consists of two late F-type stars in an eccentric orbit. The uvby light curves, containing 868 points in each colour, were obtained from 1972 to 1983. A detailed photometric analysis of BW Aqr, including a re-discussion of its apsidal motion, is published separately.
