The published data for 51 asteroids obtained with the Carlsberg Meridian Circle at La Palma have been used to obtain the photometric parameters G and H and also draw phase diagrams for each of the asteroids. Composite light curves were also derived for 8 of the asteroids, namely 2 Pallas, 4 Vesta, 7 Iris, 15 Eunomia, 16 Psyche, 18 Melpomene, 44 Nysa, and 63 Ausonia. These light curves were used to modify the phase diagrams for these asteroids so that they are referred to the primary maximum rather than to the mean as for the other 43 asteroids. Twenty-nine of the asteroids were of type S and the mean value of G for these was found to be 0.18 + or - 0.02, while the coresponding mean value for the twelve C type asteroids was 0.03 + or - 0.05. There were two M type asteroids present.
