An analytical solution method for integrating radiative transfer equations is presented for the problem of radiative transfer in the presence of a magnetic field and absorbing lines. A comparison is made between this method and other solution methods currently in use to solve the radiative transfer problem for polarized light, in terms of their accuracy, computational speed, and convenience. The usefulness and limitations of the different methods are discussed.
