Various aspects of the cosmic ray origin problem are examined. Attention
is given to the character of galactic radio halos, the convective
distribution of cosmic rays in halos, the chemical composition of cosmic
rays in a diffusive halo model, and the generation of power-spectra
cosmic rays.
