The general features of radio-astronomical measurements of the interplanetary plasma are briefly reviewed with emphasis on radio wave scattering, radio source scintillations, and plasma velocity measurements. A survey is then presented of two principal aspects of the interplanetary plasma, as observed by radio astronomy: (1) turbulence spectra and (2) large scale structure. Some recommendations for future radio-astronomical exploration of the interplanetary medium are presented.
