The infrared is a favourable band to extend spectral coverage of Crab-like supernova remnants (plerions), whose spectra are generally known only in the radio and X-ray bands. We observed three plerions with ISOCAM and ISOPHOT, and detect emission which we interpret as synchrotron radiation in CAM observations of the purely plerionic remnant G21.5-0.9 and the plerionic core of the composite remnant 0540-69.3 SNR 0540-69.3, the `Crab twin' in the LMC. We review the available spectral data on these objects in other wavebands, and show that in both cases a simple broken power-law spectral model may satisfactorily account for the entire observed spectrum.
