The FCRAO Extragalactic CO Survey observations are used to examine the molecular gas distributions, the star formation efficiency, the H2/HI ratio, the gas to dynamical mass ratio, and the gas to dust ratio in 300 nearby galaxies. Significant global trends in these quantities are found, and the results used to provide insights into galaxy evolution.
