The radio emission discovered from the one yr old remnant of the supernova in M100 (SN 1979c) is probably related to the energy output from a pulsar with a period P of about 10 ms. The lack of detectable emission at an earlier epoch may be due to synchrotron reabsorption, if P is about 1 ms. Some crucial observations are suggested. The case of SN 1970g may have been similar to the one under discussion.
