Observations indicative of tidal interactions within the groups of galaxies 0645-741, which contains a ring galaxy and is composed of three galaxies clustered within 3.2 arcmin and a fourth 5.1 arcmin away, and 0019-489, which consists of four galaxies clustered within 2 arcmin and a fifth 13 arcmin away, are presented. Prime focus plates were taken in B and V at the 4-m CTIO and 3.6-m ESO telescopes, and spectra were obtained with an image dissector scanner at the 3.6-m telescope from 4140 to 7380 A. The velocity dispersions within both groups are found to be very small, confirming group memberships. The former group is observed to consist of evolved galaxies and ellipticals, while the latter consists of young spirals showing recent star formation. Despite the differences in galactic populations, both the ring galaxy in group 0645-741 and the prominent single spiral arm of the dominant galaxy in group 0019-489 can be attributed to similar tidal interactions with other group members.
