The intrinsic Geneva colors of A-type stars of classes V to III are derived empirically, and corresponding polynomial estimators are defined. These calibrations automatically account for luminosity and lead to a straightforward estimate of color excesses in the various color-color diagrams. The confrontation of synthetic photometry with observational results is likewise facilitated. The intrinsic color versus MK-type relations are given for these early type stars.
