Classical novae synthesize radioactive nuclei, which can be detected either through the gamma-rays they emit or through the imprints they leave on the dust that condenses in several novae ejecta. We review both aspects, presenting the most recent theoretical results from nova modeling. Prospects for the detectability of novae with present and future gamma-ray instruments are presented, together with a discussion of the importance of presolar grains abundance determinations for nova nucleosynthesis studies.
