The preparation of the Gaia mission requires simulations of the stellar content of the Galaxy with detailed estimates of the intrinsec properties of the stars, as well as the overall structure of the Galaxy. We present a few distribution in luminosity class and spectral type of the stars visible by Gaia instruments and a new development of the model concerning the populations in the Galactic bulge.
