The possibility is discussed that the remarkable moving emission lines
of SS 433, found by Margon et al. (1978), originate in cool blobs
accelerated in a double jet. Further observations of SS 433 may clarify
the formation of the double and triple structures seen in many quasars
and radio galaxies, as well as in Sco X-1.
