Observations with the NRAO Green Bank interferometer at a mean frequency of 1394 MHz show the fluctuations due to sources too weak to be seen individually. Two regions of 0.50 by 0.50 deg of arc were studied. One contained fluctuations of (2.7 + or - 0.5) mJy in resolution cells of 7.8 x 10 to the -7th steradians; the other, fluctuations of (1.1 + or - 0.4) mJy in cells of 7.2 x 10 to the -7th steradians. In both regions the fluctuations were less than 0.5 mJy in cells of 4.7 x 10 to the -8th steradians. Distant radio galaxies and quasars are considered to cause the fluctuations, but a contribution from the Galaxy cannot be ruled out.
