Strong H and K emission lines arising from the primary component Ca II are revealed by the spectroscopic binary HD 22403. A total of 21 recent spectra, together with six earlier observations, has permitted determination of the orbital elements of this star, which has a variable radial velocity. A dwarf K-star is suggested as a candidate for the secondary component of the binary. Additional data are required to situate the spectroscopic binary among RS CVn binary stars.
