The Nearby Supernova Factory reports the discovery of supernova SNF20050621-001 (coordinates RA 20:45:16.8 DEC -03:49:35.7 J2000.0) in images obtained June 21.5 UT and 27.5 with approximate magnitudes of 19.6 and 19.7 respectively (calibrated to R) using the QUEST II camera on the Palomar Oschin 48- inch telescope as a part of the JPL Near-Earth Asteroid Tracking component of the Palomar Consortium.
