We present time-series photometry of HE 1429-1209, a PG 1159 star, which was recently identified in the ESO SPY survey. It is located within the planetary nebula nuclei instability strip, so it was expected to show pulsations. We analysed lightcurves, taken with the Tübingen 0.8 m telescope during three nights in May 2004, and discovered a significant pulsation period of about 919 seconds.
